State Rep. Andrew S. Chesney (R-Freeport) recently announced mobile office hours for October.
“Rep. Andrew Chesney is hosting mobile office hours in October to provide constituents with additional opportunities to ask questions about office state issues, voice concerns, and meet their State Representative,” a release said. Office hours will be open to all residents of the 89th District and they can drop by with no appointment, the release said.
Chesney will visit Forreston from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 5. The session will be conducted at Forreston Public Library, which is at 204 1st. Ave.
He will visit Mt. Morris from 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 6 in the Mt. Morris Village Hall, which is at 105 W. Lincoln Street.
Chesney frequently goes on the road during mobile office hours so constituents from across the district have easier access to him. Chesney held mobile office hours during the month of September, visiting Pecatonica, Winnebago, and Durand.
Chesney’s website says he has represented the 89th District since December 2018. He has served as an elected member of the Freeport City Council and has been a past board member of the Regional Access Mobilization Project (RAMP)—an organization that provides support services and advocacy for people with disabilities. He is also a former mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
