Building a Sexually Healthy Campus Health Fair Set for Nov. 16

What do you know about sexually transmitted infections (STIs)? What about sexual violence? Western Illinois University health promotion graduate students are striving to educate the WIU community about sexual health as part of a class project.

Students in Professor Maureen Bezold's Health Promotion class will present the "Building a Sexually Healthy Campus" health fair from 1-4 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16 in the University Union Lamoine Room.

According to Precious Olaniran, a graduate student working on the project, the fair is designed to create awareness and educate people on STIs and sexual violence, how they can prevent it and how they can seek help.
