CUW Pulls Away from Rockford in the Fourth Quarter
The Rockford University women's basketball team fell 62-45 on the road Saturday afternoon to the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons. CUW entered Saturday's meeting against Rockford fresh off an upset road win over NACC juggernaut, Wisconsin Lutheran College. Rockford however was not intimidated and answered each Falcon haymaker with one of its own for pretty much the entire game. Statistically, things were pretty close in most areas. However, CUW had distinct advantages in a couple of spots, most notably in shooting percentage. Despite taking just two more shots than the Regents, the Falcons made seven more baskets, which led to a 44.4 field goal percentage for CUW, compared to just a 32.7 shooting percentage for Rockford
