Men's Basketball Falls in Close Game Against WLC
The Rockford University men's basketball team fell in a nail-biter at home against WLC 75-71. Despite shooting 50 percent from the three-point line (9-for-18), Rockford was bested by the points off turnovers and points in the paint that helped the WLC Warriors stay ahead of the Regents for over 75% of the game. Rockford nearly overcame the 13-point deficit toward the end of the game, but came up just short 75-71. Micah Swanson had a fantastic game with team-highs in points (18) and rebounds (15), including a career-high 10 offensive rebounds. This was Swanson's second-straight double-double and third of the season.
