City of Rockford Historic Preservation Commission met March 14.

V. NEW BUSINESS

1. Certificate of Appropriateness – Jon Hughett – 418 Grove Street – 1) replace basement windows with block glass, 2) replace the existing storm door with a full view storm door, 3) replace windows with vinyl windows that resemble a period correct style, and 4) install a central air unit in the rear yard.

2. Certificate of Appropriateness – Rod & Sarah Devine – 1308 Brownwood Drive – 1) cover stucco dormers with dark or medium brown cedar type shingles and install new flashing, 2) enlarge an existing window opening, located on the north facing exterior wall, to install a new door, and 3) repair bricks on the front porch with matching materials.

3. Certificate of Appropriateness – Steve & Ann Koepsell – 956 Ridgewood Road – install solar panels on the south facing side of the pool house roof.

4. Certificate of Appropriateness – Quentin Wainwright – 331 South Second Street – rebuild and repair existing stairways, landings, and porches.
