2. Pledge and Invocation
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Alderman Wilkins and the Invocation was led by Ann Rundall from the Baha'i Center of Rockford.
II. PUBLIC SPEAKERS
1. Prophet Yusef recited scripture and shared his ideas regarding raising children in poverty, reducing crime, poverty and homelessness.
2. Matthew DeBuhr reported that he finds a city ordinance unjust regarding parking travel trailers and is proposing an amendment to this city ordinance.
3. John Tac Brantley expressed his sympathy regarding the loss of Alderman Quinonez and spoke about helping others in need.
4. Rev. Earl Dotson, Sr. recited a passage from scripture and spoke about oppression in Rockford.
III. PROCLAMATIONS
Mayor McNamara presented a Proclamation to the Irish Marching Society Rockford. The 47th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held of March 11, 2023 at 3:00 pm, starting at 7th Street and ending on Water Street. The Mayor proclaimed the week of March 6, 2023 to be "Irish Marching Society Week".
IV. INFORMATION ONLY
1. Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC) 2022 Second Update Report
Theresa Thill, President of the Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC) presented their 2022 second Update Report. She reviewed whatRAEDC does including cultivates opportunities for primary job growth thatincrease the economic well-being of our region. Ms. Thill reported detailsregarding the report. Group discussed at length.

2. Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (RACVB) Quarterly Report FY23 (Q1 July-September 2022) and Quarterly Report FY23 (Q2 October December 2022)
