CALLED TO ORDER: 5:15 P.M.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Ald. Holmes, Ald. Schlensker, Alderman Peterson

MEMBERS ABSENT: Ald. Jacobson

ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Jury, Steve Thompson, Ald. Puckett, Ald. Thompson, Ald. Owens, Ald. Pruitt, Attorney Greg Cox

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: June 19, 2023

Ald. M. Holmes moved to approve said motion. Ald. M. Peterson seconded said motion.

Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

MATTERS PROPOSED, DISCUSSED OR DECIDED AND RECORD OF VOTES TAKEN:

A) Ordinance for a stop sign at Kerri Drive & McFarland Road

Ald. Holmes moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

B) Ordinance for a stop sign at Squirrel Run & Vail Drive

Ald. Holmes moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

C) Ordinance for no parking on portions of Galleria Drive

Ald. Holmes moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

D) Resolution to hire Kayla Walston at LP Water Department

Ald. Holmes moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

E) Resolution to hire Midwest Well Services, Inc. for Well #3 emergency repairs

Ald. Holmes moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

F) Discussion on Broadband Fiber, Orth Road/ Paulson Road update and Cross Creek paving.

Alderman Holmes moved for adjournment at 5:27 p.m.; seconded by Alderman Peterson The motion to adjourn was approved by a vote of 3 ayes – 0 nays.
