City of Rockford Traffic Commission met Nov. 8.

A. New Business

1. Request in the 6th Ward, by City Staff, to establish a 20mph School Zone Speed Limit on Kishwaukee Street from Sandy Hollow Road to 1,300 feet south of Sandy Hollow Road (Bypass 20).

2. Request in the 3rd Ward, by Juana Martinez, JuLuxxe Beauty 1001 E Jefferson Street to repeal the existing parking restriction of 2 Hour Parking on the south side of E Jefferson Street from 40’ east of Hall Street to 125’ east of Hall Street, thus reestablishing unrestricted parking.

3. Request in the 1st Ward, by Alderman Timothy Durkee, to establish “No Parking Any Time” restriction on the north side of Barrick Drive from

Ware Road to Reid Farm Road.

4. Request in the 1st Ward, by Alderman Timothy Durkee, to establish “No Parking Any Time” restriction on both sides of Wisehart Drive from Barrick Drive to 50 feet north of Barrick Drive.

5. Request in the 12th Ward, by Randy Noble, 2322 Rock Terrace, to establish “No Parking Any Time” restriction on the south side of Fulton Avenue from Cumberland Street to Oxford Street, thus repealing the existing “No Parking Any Time” restriction on the north side of Fulton Avenue from Cumberland Street to Oxford Street.

6. Request in the 11th Ward, by Rockford Mass Transit District, in order to establish a bus shelter, to establish “No Parking Any Time” restriction on the south side of Broadway from 7th Street to 108 feet east of 7th Street, thus repealing the existing 2 Hour parking restriction on the south side of Broadway from 7th Street to 108 feet east of 7th Street.

7. Request in the 13th Ward, by City Staff, to establish “Commercial Vehicles Prohibited” on Winnebago Street from Cedar Street to Chestnut Street.

8. Request in the 3rd Ward, by City Staff, to establish “Commercial Vehicles Prohibited” on 1st Street from Oak Street to Walnut Street.

9. Request in the 7th Ward, by Stephanie Lindsey, 1229 Grant Avenue, to establish one-way stop control at the intersection of Reynolds Street and Grant Avenue.

10. Request in the 7th Ward, by Stephanie Lindsey, 1229 Grant Avenue, to establish one-way stop control at the intersection of Summer Street and Grant Avenue.

11. Request in the 12th Ward, by Alderwoman Gina Meeks, to establish stop control at the intersection of Deborah Avenue and N Church Street.
