Call to Order/Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jim McClaren on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Case Halstead Library located at 550 6th Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. Committee members present included Jim McClaren, Tammy Peters, and Bruce Hilmes. Others present included Mike Jansen, Jeremy, Weh, John Hodapp, Mayor Judy Smith, Brad Myers (via phone), and Rita Jurgensmeyer.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Alderman Bruce Hilmes and seconded by Alderman Tammy Peters to approve the minutes from the October 9, 2023, minutes. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Executive Session
At 6:01 p.m. a motion to go into executive session to discuss 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity was made by Alderman Bruce Hilmes. The motion was seconded by Alderman Tammy Peters and was approved by voice vote. At 6:25 p.m. the committee returned to regular session.

At 6:25 p.m. a motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Bruce Hilmes. The motion was seconded by Alderman Tammy Peters and was approved by voice vote.
