Illinois has recently announced a new initiative to support local manufacturers and boost the state's economy. Through the program, eligible manufacturers can apply for matching grants of up to $50,000. They must be designated as an Illinois manufacturer, as indicated by a North American Industry Classification System code starting with 31-33. Additionally, companies must have between 5 and 250 employees, have operated in Illinois for a minimum of three years, and have generated sales revenue in the last 12 months preceding the application date.
