City of Loves Park Finance & Administrative Committee met Feb. 5.

CALLED TO ORDER: 5:40 P.M.

MEMBERS PRESENT: John Jacobson, John Pruitt, Mark Peterson, Dan Jacobson

ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Greg Jury, Attorney Gino Galluzzo, Mike Owens, Clint Little, Jim Thompson,

A. Marie Holmes, Robert Schlensker, Doug Allton, Fire Chief James Hart, Police Chief Mike McCammond, Steve Thompson

MINUTES APPROVAL: January 16, 2024

Alderman Peterson moved to approve. Second by Alderman Pruitt.

Motion Approved 4-0

ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION

1. List of Bills: No questions or concerns.

2. Items for consideration.

A. Resolution authorizing the Mayor to make a donation to the Rock River Valley Blood Center in the amount of $2,000.00 to help with the purchase of a new bloodmobile.

Alderman Peterson moved to approve. Second by Alderman Pruitt.

Motion approved 4-0

B. Resolution authorizing the City of Loves Park to spend funds and accept donations for the Rhythm of the Heart festival to be held on July 27, 2024.

Alderman Peterson moved to approve. Second by Alderman Pruitt.

Motion approved 4-0

C. Resolution authorizing the Mayor to hire Joseph D. Rongere as a part-time Plumbing/HVAC Inspector effective February 6, 2024.

Alderman Peterson moved to approve. Second by Alderman Pruitt.

Motion approved 4-0

3. General Discussion.

4. Adjournment.
