The Chair, Alderperson Wilkins, called the meeting to order at 5:37 p.m.

II. INVOCATION 

Cory Whitford of Stateline Youth for Christ gave the invocation. Alderperson Wilkins led the Pledge of Allegiance.

III. PUBLIC SPEAKING 

1) Stephanie Hicks voiced her concern over the proposed dog ordinance.

2) Raymond Pitts Jr. spoke about the homelessness in Rockford and the need for shelter improvements.

3) Kathy Mahalko spoke about the proposed pet ordinance and the impact it would have on adoption and rehoming.

4) Flossie Hoarde voiced her support of the Auburn street road work but voiced her concerns about the traffic congestion it may in the area.

5) Suzy Theisen spoke about the pet ordinance and the burden to shelters it would cause. 

IV. RESOLUTIONS 

1. Approval of the findings from the Industrial Survey 1850-1930 for historic buildings in the City of Rockford. 

Alderman Rose made a motion to approve. Alderperson Hoffman seconded. After discussion, MOTION PREVAILED 5 TO 0.

RESULT: APPROVED BY COMMITTEE [UNANIMOUS] 

AYES: Durkee, Hoffman, Rose, Wilkins, Bailey

V. ADJOURNMENT 

Alderman Durkee made a motion to adjourn. Alderman Rose seconded. MOTION PREVAILED by unanimous voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
