Motion to Approve Minutes of April 15, 2024 by:_Ald. Owens , Second Ald. Schlensker , Vote: 3-0

Old Business – NONE

New Business – 1) Liquor license (R-1), 521 Loves Park Drive (URAlwaysAWinner, LLC): Staci Sanborn appeared to discuss her plans to open a business offering beverages, quick foods (wraps) and gaming at the above location. All foods will be prepared onsite by properly trained personnel. An extensive business plan was submitted with this application, which was on behalf of another individual; Ms. Sanborn explained this plan was hers originally, then issues arose so that the other person would “step in” but those issues have been resolved and she is ready to move forward. She addressed questions from the committee members satisfactorily, and staff indicated no concerns at this point (while noting there remained a list of items to address prior to opening).
