State Representative John Cabello (il) | Representative John M. Cabello (R) 90th District Assistant Republican Leader
The Illinois State Fair Museum Foundation is seeking ten individuals to spotlight each day of the Illinois State Fair as an Illinoisan of the Day. The program aims to honor individuals who exemplify qualities associated with Illinois, including integrity, dependability, a sense of community, and strong ethics.
Nominees for Illinoisan of the Day should be involved in service activities, educational projects, and/or youth programs. They must also have an affiliation with state and/or county fairs in Illinois and demonstrate their Illinois spirit through continued volunteerism and community service.
Winners will receive honors on their designated day during this year’s Illinois State Fair, which takes place from August 8 to 18.
Nomination forms are available on the museum foundation's website at www.illinoisstatefairmuseum.org. The deadline for nominations is July 20.
