State Senator Dave Syverson | Illinois General Assembly
State Sen. Dave Syverson and Mayor Greg Jury are collaborating with the Illinois Tollway to assist motorists in updating their I-PASS technology. The initiative will take place on October 1 in Loves Park.
An I-PASS ON DEMAND event is scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 100 Heart Blvd. Participants should bring their driver’s licenses and license plate numbers for presentation to Illinois Tollway officials. Attendees are advised to prepare for possible wait times.
Illinois Tollway officials will aid individuals in transferring to the new sticker technology without disrupting their I-PASS account activity. They will also address questions about I-PASS accounts and "Pay by Plate" issues.
Once activated, the Sticker Tag can be used on the Illinois Tollway and E-Z Pass roadways in other states within 24 hours of activation. There is no deposit required for the Sticker Tag, and the $10 transponder deposit will transfer to the current account upon activation.
