State Senator Dave Syverson and State Representative Joe Sosnowski are collaborating with the Illinois Tollway to host two events aimed at helping motorists transition to new I-PASS Sticker Tags. These events will take place on October 17 in Rockford and October 22 in Cherry Valley.

The first event is scheduled for October 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Rockford Christian School Performing Arts and Training Center, located at 1401 North Bell School Road in Rockford. The second event will be held on October 22 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, situated at 806 E. State Street in Cherry Valley.

Motorists attending these events should bring their driver’s licenses and license plate numbers for verification by Illinois Tollway officials. Participants are also advised to anticipate potential wait times.

Officials from the Illinois Tollway will assist attendees in transitioning to the new sticker technology while ensuring there is no disruption to their existing I-PASS account activity. They will also address any questions regarding I-PASS accounts and "Pay by Plate" issues.

The newly activated Sticker Tag can be used on both the Illinois Tollway and E-Z Pass roadways in other states within a day of activation. There is no deposit required for this Sticker Tag, and any $10 transponder deposit will transfer automatically to the current account upon activation.

For further information about these events, individuals can contact Senator Syverson's office at (815) 987-7555.
