Rep. Cabello invites Northwest Illinois businesses to international forum

State Representative John M. Cabello from Machesney Park is inviting businesses in Northwest Illinois to participate in the 2nd Annual International Business Forum. The event is scheduled for December 12, 2024, at Loves Park City Hall.

The forum will feature presentations by consul generals from Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, and Taiwan. Each country will offer insights on engaging with foreign markets tailored to the local business community.

“This event is a great opportunity for local businesses to explore international markets and build new partnerships,” said Rep. Cabello. “I encourage all businesses in our community, especially those involved in the manufacturing, industrial, and agricultural sectors to join us.”

Networking opportunities will be available with other local businesses and representatives from regional organizations such as the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce.

Business owners are encouraged to attend and explore possibilities for international expansion. The forum details are as follows:
