State Representative John M. Cabello from Machesney Park is inviting local businesses to attend the 2nd Annual International Business Forum on December 12th at Loves Park City Hall. The event will include presentations by consul generals from Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, and Taiwan. These representatives will provide insights for Northwest Illinois businesses on engaging in international trade.

“This event is a great opportunity for local businesses to explore international markets and build new partnerships,” said Rep. Cabello. He encourages businesses, particularly those in manufacturing, industrial, and agricultural sectors, to connect with international representatives.

The forum will also offer networking opportunities with other local businesses and regional organizations such as the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce.
