State Representative John Cabello (il) | Representative John M. Cabello (R) 90th District Assistant Republican Leader
State Representative John M. Cabello, representing the Republican Party from Machesney Park, recently visited Galena, Illinois, with a group of Northwestern Illinois lawmakers. The delegation included House Republican Leader Tony McCombie from Savanna, State Representatives Brad Fritts from Dixon and Joe Sosnowski from Rockford, as well as State Senator Andrew Chesney also from Rockford.
During their visit to Galena, the lawmakers toured several historic sites. Among the stops were Ulysses S. Grant’s Home, known for its historical significance related to the 18th President of the United States. The group also visited the Washburne House and the Old Market House.
The visit provided an opportunity for these state legislators to engage with local history and culture in Galena.
