Representative Joe C. Sosnowski (R) | Illinois General Assembly
State Representative Joe Sosnowski, a Republican from Rockford, recently participated in the State of the Community Breakfast in Marengo. The event was sponsored by the Marengo-Union Chamber of Commerce and featured other speakers, including State Senator Dave Syverson, a Republican from Cherry Valley, along with local officials.
During the breakfast, Rep. Sosnowski discussed his legislative priorities for the upcoming 2025 Spring Session. He also addressed the challenges that Illinois is currently facing as Governor Pritzker prepares to deliver his "State of the State" and Budget Address on February 19 in Springfield.
In his remarks, Rep. Sosnowski expressed gratitude to the Chamber for organizing the event and acknowledged the contributions of its members to the community: "Thank you to the Chamber for hosting us and to all Chamber members for the work you do in the community!"
