Winnebago County taxpayers paid approximately $5 million in Special County Retailers Occupation Tax in February, according to Illinois tax records.

This figure marks a significant decrease from the previous month, when Special County Retailers Occupation Tax collection stood just over $5.8 million.

Over the past 12 months, Winnebago County's residents have collectively paid a total of $59.6 million in Special County Retailers Occupation Tax.
