City of Carlyle Employee Concerns Committee met April 30.

Call to Order/Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jim McClaren on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Case Halstead Library located at 550 6th Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. Committee members present were Aldermen Jim McClaren, Tammy Peters, and Bruce Hilmes. Others present were City Administrator Brad Myers, City Clerk Rita Jurgensmeyer, Alderman Jeremy Weh, and Kyle Berry, who left at 7:25 p.m.
Approval of Minutes
Alderman Bruce Hilmes made a motion to approve the minutes from the Employee Concerns Committee meeting on April 29, 2025. The motion was seconded by Alderman Tammy Peters, and it was approved by voice vote.
Conduct Interviews for Street & Alley Foreman, Street & Alley MWII, & Water Tech/Relief Operator

Executive Session
At 6:01 p.m. Alderman Bruce Hilmes made a motion to go into executive session to discuss 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. Alderman Tammy Peters seconded the motion, and it was approved by voice vote. At 7:38 p.m. the committee returned to the open session.

At 7:38 p.m. Alderman Bruce Hilmes made a motion to adjourn. Alderman Tammy Peters seconded the motion, and it was approved by voice vote.
