Approve Expenditure for Installation of Fence Around 17th Street Water Tower Base

They now have a communications box with wires running up to antennas on the top of the water tower. They had to replace the equipment from where it was on the old city hall. There is also a generator and a propane tank. They have always intended on closing it off to keep people away from the equipment. City Administrator Brad Myers received a quote from J Square Fence in the amount of $7,500.00. The fence they quoted matches the fence that is out there now. It is a 180’ fence with an 8’ drive gate.
