The City of Rockford is launching a Diaper Drive starting October 1 in collaboration with Goodwill of Northern Illinois and Rock Valley College. The initiative will support the Baby Bank, a local non-profit organization that provides essential products to families who need them. According to organizers, the goal is to help ensure children have access to basic supplies for their well-being.

Since its founding in 2018, the Baby Bank has distributed more than 900,000 diapers to families across Northern Illinois.

Donations of any size diapers or pull-ups can be made at several locations throughout Rockford: City Hall at 425 E. State St.; Rockford Police Districts 1, 2, and 3; Rockford Fire Headquarters; and two sites at Rock Valley College—the Stenstrom Student Center and Educational Resource Center. The drive will continue through October 15.

To make a direct donation to the Baby Bank, individuals can visit www.gobabybank.org.
