There were 3,877 Hispanic students enrolled in Boone County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 3.6% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Hispanic students made up 43.6% of the 8,891 students in the county. They were the second most represented ethnicity.

Among the two districts in Boone County, Belvidere Consolidated Unit School District 100 recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 3,421 students.
