City of Carlyle Employee Concerns Committee met Oct. 16.

Call to Order/Roll Call

The Employee Concerns Committee meeting was called to order by Committee Chairman Jim McClaren at 6:00 p.m. at the Case Halstead Library, 550 6th Street, Carlyle, Illinois.

Present were Alderman Tammy Peters, Jim McClaren, Bruce Hilmes. Also present were City Clerk Rita Jurgensmeyer, Electric Department Employees Kevin Rolfingsmeyer, Todd Beavers, Connor Toennies, Kurt Sheathelm, Matt Potts, Union Representatives Mike Long, and Daryl Jett.

Approval of Minutes

Alderman Bruce Hilmes made a motion to approve the minutes from September 11, 2025. Alderman Tammy Peters seconded the motion, and it was approved by voice vote.

At 6:01 Alderman Tammy Peters made a motion to go into executive session for 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2) Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. Alderman Bruce Hilmes seconded the motion, and it was approved by voice vote.
