Graduates earn 648 degrees, certificates from Rasmussen College-Illinois

About 70.2 percent of the 648 degrees and certificates handed out by the Rasmussen College-Illinois in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Rockford conferred 233 certificates and 206 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Medical/Clinical Assistant. Data shows the school gave out 145 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant, followed by 117 associate's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 51 associate's degrees in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician.

The college enrolled 1,576 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
