OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
This week's #MissionPartnerMonday goes to Anne Hansen, stroke coordinator. As Rockford's only comprehensive stroke center, it takes many Mission Partners to provide excellent care for our patients. Anne is responsible for community outreach, coordinating a continuum of care during the patient's stay, and helping the patient transition back home. "Once a person has a stroke, our job is to prevent a second stroke," she said. "Education is the key. We want people to know the signs and symptoms and what to do should a stroke occur. I enjoy working with our team. Everyone has a common goal - to provide the highest quality of care for our patients."
