Report: Durand spent $13,967 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Durand Community Unit School District 322 is up 9.5 percent from five years ago, according to a Rockford Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Winnebago County school district spent $12,759 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,967 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 617 to 610.

Durand's spending in 2017-18 was 4.7 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
