Illinois General Assembly: HR382 actions on May 22

The following actions were taken on May 22 in the House on House bill HR382 ("women's right to vote day"): "Placed on Calendar Order of Resolutions" and "Recommends Be Adopted State Government Administration Committee".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Maurice A. West, II (D-67) on May 15, "declares June 10, 2019 as a day to celebrate women's right to vote and the important role Illinois played in achieving that right in the United States," according to the General Assembly website.

The following house representatives also co-sponsored the bill: Robyn Gabel (D-18) and Elizabeth Hernandez (D-24).
