SwedishAmerican Hospital issued the following announcement on Jan. 30.
Happy Birthday Dear Ransom! Around here we love celebrating! So we’re excited to wish our friend Ransom from the Caring Canine Team a very special birthday today!
Ransom is a tri-color (white, brown and black) Papillon who weighs just a little over six pounds. Papillons are known as the “butterfly” breed for their large ears that look like butterfly wings when they’re in motion. Ransom enjoys running at the dog park and playing fetch. At home he plays with two of his housemates--another Papillon and a cat. Ransom loves chasing squirrels, chipmunks and wild turkeys, watching TV and alerting his humans should a dog appear.
We’re so grateful for the joy Ransom and his human co-worker, Kathe, bring to our patients, visitor and team members. Please help us wish Ransom a Happy Birthday! #Woof
