Analysis: Roscoe pays $3.12 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Roscoe Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.3 percent of the $411,586 the Roscoe Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.12 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Rockford Sun analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Roscoe contributed $309,890 to the fund, which saw a $53,354 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $99,150, or 24.1 percent, in 2018. Another $2,546 came from other unspecified sources.
