Illinois State House District 67 issued the following announcement on Aug. 17
Representative West announced that 27 small businesses in the 67th District received either $10,000 or $20,000 in funding from the first round of Business Interruption Grants (BIG). In total, $500,000 of BIG funding has been allocated to local businesses to help during the pandemic. “This pandemic has been very hard on our local small businesses and programs like the BIG program are essential for making sure small businesses survive,” West said. “I encourage my constituents to support our local businesses as much as possible during the pandemic so that those businesses and our community can flourish once we are able to move past this pandemic.”
