IGNITE meets Local Non-Profits
The goal of this series is to allow IGNITE members to learn more about some of the non-profits in our area and to engage with them. Our members are able to work on personal development and volunteering through these events. If you are a non-profit interested in being featured, please contact Carmen at ckellerman@rockfordchamber.com.
Join IGNITE Leadership Team members and other IGNITE members on February 17th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Marshmallow's HOPE, 1280 South Alpine Rd. Rockford, IL 61108.
Registration is required for in-person attendees.
About Marshmallow's Hope:
They are a Non-profit organization focusing on the future leaders of America. Children, teens, young adults, servicemen/women and Veterans living with mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicidal ideations, and victims of child abuse.
Their mission is to be the voice for those who feel that they don't have one. Aiding our nation to normalize mental health by breaking the stigma that surrounds mental illness and help prevent suicides through awareness and education. To give people H.O.P.E. -Hold on,Pain Ends

COVID-19 Information:
The health and safety of our community is our first priority. All events will follow health and wellness guidelines set forth by the local health department and state government.
Per the latest CDC recommendations, face masks will be required for all individuals attending when not eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status. Face masks will be available, should you need one, as well as hand sanitzer. Anyone who is ill, has a fever, has recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or is showing symptoms is asked to please not attend.
