According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 192 students during the year. This equates to three percent of the 6,233 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for 28 incidents with violence that caused physical injury, 31 incidents with alcohol and tobacco, 13 incidents with drugs.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were 75. There were 25 incidents of tobacco. For 84 incidents, students were suspended for one to two days.
Boy students received 128 suspensions, while 64 girls were suspended.
There were 138 elementary or middle school students, and 54 high school students suspended in 2020-2021 school year.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were 45. There were 26 incidents of violence with injury. For 43 incidents, students were suspended for one to two days.
