Illinois State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) has big dreams for the future of the Prairie State which includes a booming economy with good jobs and potential for future generations to succeed.

Keicher shared his vision to make Illinois better in a Sept. 19 Facebook post.

"We have a plan for making Illinois the place people come to for a better life," Keicher wrote in the post. 

Keicher shared a YouTube video in the post where he expanded on his vision for the state. He said he imagines an Illinois the works with businesses to create jobs and new opportunities for investment. He added that he envisions training programs and apprenticeships that prepare students for the jobs of the future. He'd also like to see affordable healthcare and childcare available to everyone. 

Keicher supported the Reimagine Illinois platform in March 2021. At the time he released a statement that read in part, "to move Illinois forward — to Reimagine Illinois — we need to get past the failed promises of the past and look in a new direction, which is exactly what this platform does."

Keicher was first elected to The Illinois House in 2018. His legislative experience includes serving on the Appropriations-Higher Education and Immigration & Human Rights Committees, according to The Illinois House.
