THE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF CHERRY VALLEY, ILLINOIS, WINNEBAGO AND BOONE COUNTIES, CONVENED IN A SPECIAL SESSION ON THE 21ST DAY OF DECEMBER, 2016. PRESIDENT JIM E. CLAEYSSEN CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 5:30 P.M. AND LED THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.

A roll call was taken by Deputy Clerk Barb Neville:

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA: Trustee Schroeder moved that the Special Village Board Meeting Agenda be approved. Trustee Appell seconded. A roll call vote was taken:

ORDINANCE REPORT BY TRUSTEE NANCY BELT

1. Trustee Belt moved that the Village Board consider this the second and final reading of “An Ordinance Granting a Zoning Map Amendment from PK (Park) Under Section 82-302 to OF (Office) Under Section 82-261 (Cherry Valley School). 2. Trustee Belt moved that the Village Board pass and approve Ordinance 2016-41 “An Ordinance Granting a Zoning Map Amendment from PK (Park) Under Section 82-302 to OF (Office) Under Section 82-261 (Cherry Valley School). Trustee Schroeder seconded. A roll call vote was taken:

VILLAGE OF CHERRY VALLEY, IL SPECIAL VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2016

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REPORT BY TRUSTEE: STEPHEN APPELL.

1. Continued discussion regarding the proposed Inter-Governmental Agreement (IGA) between the Village of Cherry Valley and Rockford School District #205 pertaining to the construction of a new elementary school in Cherry Valley, Illinois.

Attorney Sosnowski noted the date of this IGA will be changed to 2017 since the Rockford School District #205 will be voting on this Agreement at their January 10, 2017 Board Meeting.

2. Trustee Appell moved that the Village Board approve the proposed Inter- Governmental Agreement (IGA) between the Village of Cherry Valley and Rockford School District #205 pertaining to the construction of a new elementary school in Cherry Valley, Illinois. Trustee Belt seconded. A roll call vote was taken:
