Village of Roscoe Fire and Police Commission met September 5.

Here is the minutes provided by the commission:

A scheduled meeting of the Village of Roscoe Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was held in the Village Hall Chambers on September 5,2018. Chairman Seibert called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Roll Call:

The Roll was called. Chairman Seibert, Commissioner Dunn, and Commissioner Nytko were present; also in attendance were Attorney Charles Kostantacos and Secretary Kylie Loewecke.

Minutes :

The Commissioners reviewed the Minutes of the Aug 22nd,2018 meeting. On motion by Commissioner Nytko, second by Commissioner Dunn, and by unanimous roll call vote; the minutes of August 22nd, 2018, were approved.

Public Discussion:

None.

Correspondence:

All members of the Commission had received information on the upcoming IFPCA training seminar. Discussion of the materials was pushed to Unfinished Business.

Unfinished Business:

The Commission and Attorney Kostantacos agreed that they would wait until the fall seminar to confirm any additives or changes on the Rules and Regulations needed to fulfill the standards of the lllinois State Statute.

After member received some in filled the discussion out mail. and Ms. on filed Loewecke which their training corresponding collected modules them training with would intention be seminar best, of submitting each packets commission they them had to the Village Board.

New Business:

None.

Bills:

One (1) invoice from the Law Offices of Charles P. Kostantacos was presented to the Commission Commissioner for Dunn review. moved The invoice to approve was for payment work done of the in August invoice, 20'18 Commissioner totaling $481.25. Nytko seconded the motion and the motion was carried by unanimous roll call vote.

Attorney Report:

At this time, Attorney Kostantacos reviewed the dates he had given earlier in reference to available the state dates archivist's for him visit to meet, had differed. and requested He updated the Commission the Commission choose on the which newest date would work best. After some conference, the date decided upon was September 14, 2018.

Attorney Kostantacos also made brief suggestions on practical ways to comply with the Open Meetings Act.

Adjournment:

There being no further business coming before the Commission, Commissioner Nytko moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 p.m. Commissioner Dunn seconded the motion and the meeting was adjourned immediately thereafter by unanimous roll call vote.
