Rockford Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
Stop by Schnucks at 5410 E. State Street this weekend for Law Enforcement Torch Run T-Shirt Days! The Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run is teaming up with the Schnucks grocery chain to raise funds and awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. During this event, law enforcement officers, including RPD, and volunteers will sell t-shirts ($20), Harley Davidson raffle tickets ($10) and other merchandise! Credit cards, checks and cash will be accepted.
