City of Carlyle Employee Concerns Committee and City Council met Oct. 12.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee and the council:
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Shannon Petrea at 6 p.m. at Case Halstead Library located at 550 Sixth Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. Committee members present included Shannon Petrea, Kent Newkirk, and Jeremy Weh. Others present included Don Perez, Mayor Judy Smith, Andy Brackett, and Martha Reinkensmeyer.
After reviewing the minutes from the September 14, 2020 meeting, Jeremy Weh made a motion to approve the minutes. Kent Newkirk seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.
The first item on the agenda was personnel. Jeremy Weh made a motion to enter executive session. Kent Newkirk seconded the motion. The Committee entered executive session at 6:01 p.m.
There was no old business.
The third item on the agenda was new business. A discussion was held about upcoming contract negotiations.
There were no public comments.
There were no executive session items on which to vote.
With no further business to discuss, Kent Newkirk made a motion to adjourn. Jeremy Weh seconded the motion. Finding all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 6:07 p.m.
