City of Rockford issued the following announcement on Feb. 2.
We're now offering a Residential Roof Program, available to income-eligible homeowners. This program can provide up to $30,000 to cover the construction costs of rehabilitating the roof, gutters, soffit, fascia and downspouts on an owner-occupied, single-family home. Financial assistance is provided through three-year forgivable mortgage loans, subject to eligibility requirements.
Homeowners will be selected through a lottery process. Program requirements and instructions on how to complete the online pre-application are available on the ND Programs page of the City’s website. All pre-applications must be submitted online by Friday, February 12, 2021, in order to be included in the lottery.
