CITY OF ROCKFORD: Mailing Delays

City of Rockford issued the following announcement on Feb. 6. 

Our Customer Service Center has recently received calls from multiple residents about delays in receiving their water bills, which are mailed by our third-party vendor from Columbus, Ohio. We have been in contact with the United States Postal Service since November and are aware of mailing delays caused by a higher than normal package volume during the holidays and significant staffing issues caused by COVID-19.  We’re told that the situation is getting better, but that some delays are still occurring. The USPS expects to be back to normal operations soon and are putting processes in place to alleviate future delays.

If you have not received your bill, please email FN_CS_Group@rockfordil.gov or call 779-348-7300 to get your balance. You can also sign up for e-billing at https://schedulepayment.com/cor.
