City of Carlyle Finance Committee Meeting/City Council met Aug. 23

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

Call to Order/Roll Call

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Don Perez at 6:45 p.m. at Case Halstead Library located at 550 6th Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. Committee members present included Don Perez, John Hodapp, and Jeff Taylor. Others present included Rita Jurgensmeyer, Mike Jansen, Tammy Peters, Bruce Hilmes, Shannon Petrea, Chief Mark Pingsterhaus, Bo Thomas, Mike Meskil, Mayor Judy Smith, Andy Brackett, and Martha Reinkensmeyer.

Approval of Minutes

After reviewing the minutes from the August 9, 2021, meeting, John Hodapp made a motion to approve the minutes. Jeff Taylor seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.

Approval of Claims

After reviewing the claims, John Hodapp made a motion to approve the claims. Jeff Taylor seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.

There was no old business.

New Business

There was no new business.

Any Other Comments

There were no public comments.

Executive Session

The Committee did not enter executive session, so there were no executive session items on which to vote.

Adjourn

With no further business to discuss, John Hodapp made a motion to adjourn. Jeff Taylor seconded the motion. Finding all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 6:46 p.m.
