Auburn Community Unit School District #10 Board of Education met Dec. 7.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
The following members answered roll call at the special meeting of the Auburn Board of Education: Present: John Megginson, Josh Smith, Brad Smith, Jamie Kuhlmann, Carl Kessler, and Michael Bates. Absent: Matt Kern. Also present were Darren Root and Nathan Essex.
B. Smith moved to adopt the agenda. J. Smith seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:
Bates yea Megginson yea
Kern absent B. Smith yea
Kessler yea J. Smith yea
Kuhlmann yea
There being 6 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.
Bates moved to enter closed session at 7:01 pm. Kuhlmann seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:
Bates yea Megginson yea
Kern absent B. Smith yea
Kessler yea J. Smith yea
Kuhlmann yea
There being 6 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.
Board came out of Closed Session at 7:50 pm.
Kessler moved to adjourn at 7:50 pm. J. Smith seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous the president declared the motion carried.
