Winnebago County Consolidated Election Day is one week away, on April 4

Winnebago County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 163 candidates will compete for 47 municipal offices, including 20 contests for city and village, three for park, fire and library boards and 19 for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last Winnebago County Consolidated Election, it had 97,617 registered voters and 10,764 cast ballots, or 11.03 percent.

In the 2019 Winnebago County Consolidated Election, it had 93,653 registered voters and 8,013 cast ballots, or 8.56 percent.
