According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 573 students during the year. This equates to 30 percent of the 1,885 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for seven incidents with violence that caused physical injury, 42 incidents with violence without physical injury, 44 incidents with alcohol and tobacco, 87 incidents with drugs.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were 360. There were 44 incidents of tobacco. For 373 incidents, students were suspended for one to two days.
Boy students received 413 suspensions, while 160 girls were suspended.

The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for drug offense, of which there were 47. There were 33 incidents of unspecified reasons. For 34 incidents, students were suspended for four to 10 days.
