City of Carlyle Finance Committee met July 22.

Call to Order/Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by John Hodapp on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. at Case Halstead Library located at 550 6th Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. Committee members present included John Hodapp and Jeff Taylor. Chairman Jeremy Weh was absent. Others present included Dru Johnson, Rita Jurgensmeyer, Mike Jansen, Scott Diekemper, Jim McClaren, Bruce Hilmes, Brad Myers, and Martha Reinkensmeyer.
Approval of Minutes
After reviewing the minutes from the July 8, 2024, meeting, John Hodapp made a motion to approve the minutes. Jeff Taylor seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.
Approval of Claims
After reviewing the claims, John Hodapp made a motion to approve the claims for payment. Jeff Taylor seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.
Approve Lift Station Maintenance Quote
Brad stated that Brandon Pieron has found a company that will service the lift stations once a year. Municipal Equipment will inspect all lift stations to help prevent major issues. The cost will be $13,894.00. Jeff Taylor made a motion to send the lift station quote from Municipal Equipment to Council for approval. John Hodapp seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.
Discuss/Approve Online Bill Pay Options
Brad stated that online bill pay would be used to pay routine bills, such as health insurance. After some discussion, John Hodapp made a motion to send the approval of online bill pay options to Council. Jeff Taylor seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.
