State Senator Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley) has been recognized as a Champion of Free Enterprise by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. The award is given to lawmakers who demonstrate leadership on policies that support Illinois' economy and job climate.

“I am grateful that my efforts on behalf of job creators in northern Illinois have been rated so highly by the Illinois Chamber,” Senator Syverson stated. “The best way to turn Illinois’ economy around is to improve our jobs climate, and that is what I am committed to doing.”

The Illinois Chamber, representing a diverse range of employers from small businesses to large international companies across the state, acknowledged Senator Syverson's contributions.

“Senator Syverson has consistently represented the interests of businesses in his district, establishing himself as a respected and trusted voice on complex issues in the Senate,” said Illinois Chamber President and CEO Lou Sandoval. “Senator Syverson is widely acknowledged for his pragmatic approach to the legislative process, and the business community has benefited from his decades of experience and determination to pass legislation that will enhance the quality of life for Illinois families. We look forward to our continued collaboration to foster a robust economy and a prosperous Illinois for all.”
