Intensive care
Burn and wound care
“I strive to care for each patient in the manner that I would want a member of my own family to be cared for,” said Dr. Hollister. “To me, this means not only exercising kindness and compassion, but also being honest about a patient’s condition and the different treatment options that might exist. It also means spending whatever amount of time is necessary with each patient to guarantee that he or she understands and agrees with a plan of action.”
Dr. Hollister earned his medical degree at University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford. He completed his General Surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center–John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Chicago.
Dr. Hollister is certified by the American Board of Surgery with added certification in Surgical Critical Care. He also completed an Operative Trauma and Burn Surgery fellowship at John H.
