Local residents in the 35th District have been invited by State Senator Dave Syverson to attend the Boone County Fair, which will take place from Tuesday, Aug. 5 through Sunday, Aug. 10 at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Belvidere.
Senator Syverson described the fair as a longstanding tradition that unites people from across the region. “The Boone County Fair is a tradition that brings people from all over the area together,” said Senator Syverson. “It’s always a great chance to connect with neighbors, enjoy some classic fair events, and support our local community. I hope to see many familiar faces there.”
The event will feature activities such as a live concert with Justin Moore, truck and tractor pulls, bull riding, and a demolition derby.
Syverson has represented Illinois' 35th Senate District since his election in 1993, succeeding Christine J. Johnson.
